General purpose mirrors for schools and supervised childcare made from impact resistant non-shatter plastics available both in padded and unpadded styles. Why choose our mirrors? Safety first. Plastic mirrors can be used with children and in childcare settings where heavy glass mirrors are completely unsuitable. Our mirrors are cut or moulded from plastics selected for their all round performance:- optical quality, non shatter resistance to impact, the absence of sharp edges and ease of cleaning. Their light weight and slim profile (2mm) adds further to the safety aspect... light in weight means they won't injure if they are dropped or fall, the slim profile means they do not protrude from a wall. The decorative stickers supplied (you can add your own) are made from repositionable (care needed on some surfaces), wipe clean vinyl and are for indoor use only. Outdoor use of Mirrors: Unpadded (never padded) mirrors can be mounted outside in sheltered areas. Our mirrors are not vandal proof so always do a risk assessment. Direct sunlight and mirrors can lead to combustion or dazzle risks. Very harsh conditions, sea salty or exposed areas and extremes of temperature hot and cold will significantly reduce the working outdoor life of your mirror.
